My friend had a De-Lurk Day a few months ago, and even though my blog is not as popular as hers, I thought I could have my own De-Lurk Day.
I use Google Analytics to track my stats, and I have readers in Manheim, Germany; Kennewick, Oregon; Manchester, New Hampshire; and a lot of other places where I've never been and I'm not sure I personally know anyone who lives there.
I'm really curious about these people. How did you find my blog? Did you click through my cousin-in-law's blog (who keeps saying she doesn't know me, but we met at Tracy's wedding, remember?), do you live next door to my sister and got curious about why I lit my shower on fire? Did I know you in Santa Barbara? Did you go to high school with Tyler (hi, Nick)? Or, are you one of the 10 people who Goggled "compression stockings pregnant" only to find out I used my compression stockings to make my Leia buns for my Halloween costume. Or, Tyler did. (If you were actually wondering about the reason I have them, it was for when I was pregnant and working in the hospital, and thus on my feet for 12 hours a day. They really do help keep down the swelling.)
Even if I don't know you, and you don't know anyone I know, or talk about, or who comments, I'd like to hear from you. And, even if I do know you, and you know everyone I know, I'd still like to hear from you.
Leave a comment and let me know how you found my blog, or if I'm related to you, or if you live in Sahuarita and wish we could be friends... not that I'm desperate for friends, or anything.
Ok.... go!

Hi, I'm Bridget, and I'm your #1 fan. If only we lived within a few thousand miles of each other. You make me laugh and so does your oldest daughter.
You may remember me from when we first met, and I started reading your blog, and I inundated you with comments and it probably freaked you out a little bit but we still became friends...right?
You'll have to show me how you can track people through your blog because I'm curious at who reads mine.
Oh and we moved to Sahuarita at close to the same time and met in our ward.
Hello, my name is Krissie. We have been friends since you started school in Santa Barbara. You are hilarious and I think you should consider relocating to South Florida. Because I know someone there who's a little desperate in the friend department too.
Hi, My name is Tyler. We met in SLO a little over 5 years ago. I even moved to AZ about the same time you did. And I'm not sure, but I think I am the father of at least 1 if not both of your children. I hope you don't think I'm stalking you or anything.
hahah tyler's funny.... I am your sister and i miss you. I can't wait to see you guys for christmas!
I went to grad school with your brother. I like how your daughter has a small head.
I'm de-lurking. But I'm not living in some far-flug locale... just little ole Tucson.
I am probably your Kennewick girl. It's me, Jen Johnson. Remember me from Santa Barbara? We used to hang out and drive around in my VW Bus. Yes, we had some good times. I actually live in Pasco, right next to Kennewick, but for some reason I am marked through the internet and phone as Kennewick...who knows. Anywho. Hi!
This is Patrick. I used to be your Chinese neighbor in SLO. I gave Lilian a doggy sweater and a baby book with advanced engineering topics at your baby shower. I was one of the many friends you inherited from Claire when you first moved to SLO. That's it!
I don't think I qualify as a lurker but hey-it's me, Emily. We met at some girls camp thing where I allegedly spun around on the floor and did something relating to the three stooges (your words, not mine-I've blocked out the incident). We were buddies from rival schools and seminary friends. Now we live in the same state but far away. And I'm always sad it's not closer since we both could use from friends-and I would TOTALLY go to the library story time with you.
Oh, I remember meeting you at Tracy's wedding. It was pretty brief (I believe I had at 16 month old with me at the time that kept me pretty occupied) so I don't really count us as knowing each other. I was excited about visiting you guys a couple months back, but ended up having to spend a lonely few days trying to keep 3 kids entertained in Greeley, CO instead. Maybe another time. I'm just glad my cousin married a cool girl because I've always thought he was pretty cool himself.
Yo it's your bro, and for that I apologize. I see that Amy Lazicki is stalking you from Paris and Krissie from Florida. I found your blog from Chantel's blog. I keep hoping to see your old bee outfit, but so far I have met only with disappointment. Anyway I guess I'll keep stalking you from Maryland and keep hoping for that good ol' black and yellow.
Hey Amanda, it's Sam Keller. I hope you remember me (otherwise I'll be pretty bummed). We knew each other in Santa Barbara. I lived in Apt. 10 with Cheryl, Deannah and Jen. You were at my wedding!
I randomly found your blog one day and it made me laugh. I always appreciated your sense of humor when we knew each other so I enjoy hearing about your experiences as a mother. I also have two girls (I think they are around the same age as your oldest).
I know it's not technically De-lurk day anymore, but I didn't want to dis you like those other people did on your sad day the other day:)
Sorry I'm not the reader from North Hollywood or France. I'm Jen, a college roommate. I find comfort in your blog knowing that I'm not the only one looking for friends and living in a city where the humidity is -90%.
I'm a total lurker of Us and Things, Amanda! We didn't know each other well, but I find your writing very entertaining and I enjoy what you have to say! So, I'm finally coming out of blog-stalking hiding to tell you hello!
Hopefully I add a whole new state to your list. But it is just me from GA. We became friends because both our husbands are geeks. I miss you. Steph
Hi, I'm Megan and I used to sing in Campbell Ward choir with you. I found your blog through Lu&Moo and found it so amusing that I have been lurking ever since.
We've now moved just outside of Manchester, New Hampshire (check that one off of your list), and our son is now 3.5 months old. At birth he was about average, and at two months he was in the 97th percentile. There's another huge baby boy who's got the chunk to match the height. Both would be good suiters for Nora. ;)
p.s. Feel free to read our blog too. I can promise cute pictures of Oliver, and I try to keep it interesting but fail most of the time.
p.p.s. I love that I understand a lot of your husband's nerdiness.
My name is Claire, and I live in California. You were roommates with my sister in Santa Barbara. And you came to my house once.
Oh....also...we starred in a movie together.
My name is Myriah, we met at the pink house, I think, and my hair is like a Slip and Slide.
Also, anytime I have asked you about people who post on your blog, you tell me the story of how you met. The stories recounted here are very similar, so either everyone has fantastic memories, or you have fabricated these friends.
Hi Amanda. I hope you remember me, but we met in 3rd ward in slo. I found your blog through Stephanie. You always write the funniest stuff and I applaud you for posting everyday with 2 kids!
