In institute last night, we had a wonderful lesson about the parable of the Good Samaritan. In the class, our teacher based his lesson off
this article in which the parable is presented as an allegory for the plan of salvation. The idea, I guess, was well known in the early church and is presented in a number of
stained-glass windows in cathedrals around Europe. The article is a bit long, but it is really something to think about, and would make a good family home evening.
