For a year now, Tyler has been working on his senior design project, "Odin's Fury." It's a cargo plane that had to be able to take off and land in a short distance on a muddy field and carry something so wide, so tall, and so heavy. Tyler's touching a model of the plane. Last night, they had their poster reception and today is the final symposium. Hooray! This project has meant lots of late nights, group meetings at all hours, weekend trips to Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Edward's AFB, and other places I can't recall.
I overheard him talking to Lillian last night saying, "After tomorrow, I can be your dad again. We'll play together and go on walks."
If you look at the pictures on the left, you can see that Odin's Fury can carry a tank, cargo, and storm troopers.

YAY congratulations!
That's really impressive. Who is Odin by the way?
Odin is the chief god among the Norse gods. This is what wikipedia has to say about him.
It kind of reminds me of 6th grade sience fair. => Something tells me it was slightly harder then making a cloud in a jug. Congrats!
Can it also carry me home for free?
Very impressive Tyler. ha ha... I loved the cloud in the jug.
Looks cool. When does Tyler graduate? What comes after that? (You know, NASA is out this way...)
Tyler will receive his masters next spring, June-ish, the same time I graduate from nursing school. Because he's more airplanes and less space, he'll probably go to work for someone like Boeing (in Seattle, Colorado, Huntington Beach, or LA), Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, or work on an air force base like Edwards or Vandenburg. Of course, I'd like to live close to my family (even if it means living in palm desert) but I wouldn't mind Colorado Springs much either.
don't let them fool you, odin is really just a main character on zelda. Tyler is really into zelda.
